What Is a Lunar Registered Agent?
Sometimes called statutory agents or agents for service of process, registered agents are individuals or other businesses designated to accept legal notices and service of process on behalf of your organization. Lunar registered agents are also required to keep information including name, registered office address, and contact info for particular people at the organization.
What Does a Lunar Registered Agent Do?
A basic registered agent offers a real, physical presence to receive service of process and legal mail in a designated known location. How Does Registered Agent Service Work on the Moon?
Earthbound regulatory agencies and other legal representatives need a point of contact for a business to accept official mail and service of process, including notices of pending legal action and compulsions to appear in galactic court. Mail and service personnel will be directed to your registered agent at the registered office named on your business formation paperwork.

How Can I Appoint a Lunar Registered Agent?
The appointment of your lunar registered agent is one step in your business entity formation process. Corporations ready to launch will designate their agent’s information on their Articles of Incorporation. Limited liability companies and nonprofits will designate the same information on their Articles of Organization. Keep in mind that you’ll need the full name, real complete Earth address, and contact information for your lunar registered agent, along with a Consent to Appointment form if you designate anyone other than yourself.
All businesses operating on the moon must file their Articles online through the Commerce Corps Committee Phalanx 10 (C3-P10) of the Twilight Space Gate Landing Port, regardless of the lunar region in which their business is actually located. If you do not own a quantum computer or are otherwise incapable of interfacing with the CCC’s quantum server, you’ll need to pay a Special Handling Fee in addition to your filing fees for digital transmission.
My business on the moon is already established. How do I change my lunar registered agent?
You can designate a new lunar registered agent as an amendment to your Biennial Report filing, which is due each even-numbered Galactic Standard synodic year. However, if your Biennial Report will not be due this year, you must instead file a Change of Agent report with the C3-P10 of the TSG Landing Port. This filing is instantaneous when completed on a quantum computer, or may take up to 21 Galactic Standard sidereal days (29 synodic days, or roughly 14 Earth days) if processed via digital transmission, which also incurs a Special Handling Fee.
You can also engage the services of a certified postal courier to hand-deliver your filings in triplicate to C3-P10. Their office address follows:

Can I use a Vogon as my registered agent?
