Law Enforcement Request for Information Guide
Updated: November 2025
At Registered Agents Inc (“RAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to protecting privacy and ensuring transparency in how we handle requests for information from law enforcement agencies. This outlines our Law Enforcement Request for Information Guide (“Guide”) which governs how we process and respond to such requests.
Law Enforcement Request for Information
A. Submission of Requests.
- Valid Legal Process: Law enforcement requests must be accompanied by valid and enforceable legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, or search warrant, issued by a court or authority with jurisdiction. Requests must specify the information sought, the relevant customer account (e.g., business name or account identifier), and the time period for the requested data. RAI will provide the requested documents in response to valid legal process but will not appear in person unless explicitly required by the legal process.
B. Submission Method.
Requests must be submitted in writing to our Legal Department via one of the following methods:
- U.S. Certified Mail: Addressed to Legal Department, Northwest Registered Agent Service Inc, 30 N Gould St. Ste. N, Sheridan, WY 82801; or
- Process Server: Requests may also be served through a licensed process server, provided the server delivers the request directly to the address listed above during regular business hours.
C. Required Information.
Requests must include:
- The name, title, and contact information (phone number, email, and mailing address) of the authorized officer or agent.
- A clearly defined request response date.
- A clear description of the information sought and its relevance to the investigation.
- Any applicable legal authorization documents.
